If you have a domestic violence related charge, you may be feeling angry, embarrassed, or confused about why you are here and how to satisfy court and treatment requirements. At Ambiance Counseling Services, we can help you understand the process and to learn how treatment can benefit you. It often helps people to look at treatment as an opportunity to make positive changes in their personal lives, and to learn and grow from their mistakes. Please call 970-333-4519 with questions or to schedule an evaluation to get started today.

All Domestic Violence groups are held weekly for 90 minute sessions at the office locations in Dillon and Idaho Springs. Domestic Violence treatment and evaluations are conducted by a Full Operating Level State Approved Domestic Violence Counselor who has participated in specialized training and supervision. Both groups and individual treatment sessions are provided.

After the evaluation, clients are placed in Level A, B, or C treatment. Groups are separated by gender to address specific gender-related needs. All clients will participate in treatment plan reviews every two to three months throughout the course of treatment to assess their progress towards treatment goals and compliance with treatment requirements. During these sessions, input and information from probation, case managers, and victim advocates will be considered.

Level B and C clients may participate in Substance Abuse, Anger Management, or Parenting groups in coordination with their DV treatment at a reduced cost.
